It’s better to destroy than create what’s unnecessary.

Great little short-video on where great ideas and inspiration come from.

That flash of inspiration is the final moment of a process marked by distinctive stages - the basic steps in creative problem-solving. The first stage is preparation, when you search out any information that might be relevant. It’s when you let your imagination roam free. Being receptive, being able to listen openly and well, is a crucial skill here.

Very interesting approach towards inspiration for photographers and a good marketing campaign…if it wasn’t just in flash and had a mobile app! (Well, Canon is not in the mobile business…yet)

Before defining art — or any concept — we must answer a far broader question: what’s the meaning of man’s life on earth?
maybe we are here to enhance ourselves spiritually. if our life tends to this spiritual enrichment… then art is a means to get there. This, of course, in accordance with my definition of life. Art should help man in this process.
Art enriches man’s own spiritual capabilities and he can then rise above himself to use what we call ‘free will.’
